Hypocrites annoy the hell out of me. I understand it is necessary to play the hypocrite sometimes but I am not in support of it especially on a whim or as a habit. My colleagues at work hear me say it all the time that I don't think I could be a really big manager in a company I do not own, simply because of the level of hypocrisy, politics and bureacracy that exists. The pretences, the lies, I'm just not cut out for that sort of thing.
Maybe I'm just being a bitch, or being naive or just plain dumbass. However, I find it very hard to pretend. If I don't like you, I try my best to avoid you. If I can't avoid you then I maintain a civil relationship. I will come across cold in these situations but it would only be directed to that one individual. Does this make me a bad person? I would feel much better to know that a person said "I'm not that into you" than to smile with me, act as though we're friends and getting along, only to slaughter me behind my back in one way or another. I hate that and I don't appreciate people pretending to like me when deep down they really don't.
Did I say hypocrites annoy the hell out of me? What I really meant to say is that I strongly dislike hypocrites. I know there are something that will always be around - double standards, hypocrisy, bureacracy and corruption. They exist and I detest them all!!!

What is Faith?
I found several definitions of the word but the below in Webster's New World Dictionary, Second College Edition, explains it best
Faith: unquestioning belief that does not require proof or evidence
When we say we have faith what does it really mean? There are different dimensions of faith, I think. I also believe that there is a very thin line between faith and stupidity. There is nothing wrong in believing in something. Absolutely nothing. But, what is the very thing you believe in will be the cause of your downfall, be to your detriment? When you have faith in someone, that is almost a 360 degree turn. You believe in someone, you have faith in them, you expect them to be there for you, support you, stand by you. Is this level of faith expected to be reciprocated? What if it isn't? Would you think that the friendship/relationship is not worth fighting for or staying in?
Knowing that someone believes in you, is willing to put their trust in you, have confidence in whatever it is you will do and feels assured that you will do all you can in any situation is a wonderful feeling. But, what does it mean to you?
This may all sound like mumbo jumbo right now ... I feel like my thoughts are not flowing properly but the basic premise of this post is FAITH. How differently would you look at a person or the world if you couldn't have faith in something or someone? How differently would you feel if no one had or could have faith in you?

Wow ... After All That
You cannot believe the relief I felt when I logged into my blog this morning and saw that all my posts, my work, my writings were restored by Blogger. It was almost a surreal feeling and I'm happy. The only drawback is that my original blog address http://cooldestiny.blogspot.com is now a dead end (tears, tears) ...
So, what I have done is called my blog http://cooldestinypt1.blogspot.com. My rejuvenated blog, My Secret Garden is now at http://cooldestiny2005.blogspot.com.
.
I hope I will not lose my readers as a result of this change and will try my utmost not to delete my blog ever again.

Stress!
This week has been by far one of my most stressful weeks on the job. As a result of the commerce minister's brilliant idea of a levy to overseas telecoms carriers, it caused a virtual shut down of communication for some of our customers since Tuesday. Thankfully it has now been resolved but my ears and mouth are tired from listening to customers cuss mi off and me explaining the reason and offering temporary solutions. I'm glad today's Friday and can't wait to begin the weekend!!!
I got the below email just now and found it appropriate: Enjoy.
*Stress Free in 10 minutes . . .*
*1. Do Nothing*
At least once during the day, take 5 - 10 minutes to sit quietly and do
nothing. Focus on the sounds around you, your emotions and any tension in
your neck, shoulders, arms, chest, etc.
*2. Laugh Out Loud*
Keep something handy that makes you laugh. It could be a collection of your
favorite comic strips, or a funny eMail from, say, your child or a friend.
You could even take a few moments to think watching your favorite comedy
serial. Turn to this every so often during your day.
*3. Tune In*
When you face a daunting task, play soothing music - be it classical,
country or jazz. At work you can use the CD drive on your computer to keep
the music at the ready.
*4. Think Happy*
Focus on someone or something you care deeply about for anywhere from 15
seconds to 5 minutes. Or picture a scene from a peaceful vacation. A phrase
that makes you feel positive about yourself and the world can also work.
*5. Hit The Road*
Get up from your desk, the couch - wherever you may be - and take a 10
minute walk.
*6. Breathe Easy*
For 5 minutes, slow your breathing down to about 6 deep-belly breaths a
minute. In other words, inhale for about 5 seconds, exhale for about 5.
*7. Rise Relaxed*
Right before bed, and after the alarm goes off in the morning, take 5
minutes to relax your entire body. Start by tensing your toes; consciously
relax them. Move on to the muscles in your feet, and then your calves, upper
legs, move upwards until you end by scrunching up and then relaxing the
muscles in your face . . .
